This study aims to analyze the role of the Apotik Hidup program within Scout activities as a medium for developing students’ social skills at SD Daarul Qur’an Kalibata. This environment-based program is viewed not merely as ecological education, but also as an authentic social learning space for elementary school students. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach and was conducted at SD Daarul Qur'an Kalibata. The research informants consisted of the school principal, teachers, and students directly involved in the Apotik Hidup activities. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out using an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.

The findings indicate that students’ involvement in the Apotik Hidup program provides broad opportunities for natural social interaction. Students learn to communicate, collaborate, respect differences of opinion, and develop empathy through activities such as caring for medicinal plants and working in groups. In addition to enhancing students’ understanding of medicinal plants and environmental awareness, the program also strengthens social relationships among students and fosters positive behavioral habits in daily life. Thus, the Apotik Hidup program functions not only as an environmental learning medium, but also as a meaningful platform for social character development relevant to children’s real-life experiences. This study recommends the sustainable integration of experiential-based activities such as Apotik Hidup into the school curriculum as an effort to balance the development of students’ academic and emotional competencies from an early age
